
PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya officials removed a stray dog from the Jomtien area after residents reported that it had been chasing and attempting to bite tourists, raising concerns over public safety, October 7. Jomtien municipal officers, together with Pattaya public health and veterinary staff, inspected the area after receiving the complaint.
A city veterinarian sedated the dog before it was safely removed and taken to a facility prepared by Pattaya City for its care. Officials said the action was taken to protect residents and tourists from potential danger.
