PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal officers have ordered motorcycle rental operators to remove bikes parked on public footpaths along Pattaya Third Road, after the vehicles were found obstructing pedestrians. Officials inspected the area on October 7 and found motorcycles being parked on the footpath for rental. The practice was causing inconvenience to people using the public walkway.
Officers issued arrest records and written agreements requiring the operators to immediately move the motorcycles off the footpath. The city said public walkways must remain clear for pedestrians and urged residents to report similar violations through the Pattaya City 1337 hotline.
