Pattaya police handed out helmets instead of tickets to law-breaking motorcyclists before New Year’s Eve. Police chief Pol. Col. Kullachart Kullachai led traffic officers in the annual rite of new year’s safety near the Soi 9 police station. The crash helmets which will protect people from head injuries came with a warning that, next time, police would not be so lenient.
