Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet and officials discuss plans for a tourist assistance center at Bali Hai Pier to support visitors travelling to Koh Larn and other marine attractions.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City is preparing to establish a tourist assistance center at Bali Hai Pier through cooperation between the Pattaya Regional Harbour Office and the Chonburi Provincial Tourism and Sports Office, aiming to improve visitor services, travel information and safety.

Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet and Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai joined a meeting on October 26 with Chonburi tourism and maritime officials to discuss the proposed center at the pier, a major transport hub for visitors travelling to Koh Larn and other marine attractions. The initial facility will occupy an area measuring 6 meters by 10 meters. The two agencies plan to share the space for approximately two to three months while a permanent service area near the car park and public toilets is prepared and improved.

Staff from both agencies will provide travel information, recommend tourist attractions, assist visitors with their journeys and coordinate help in emergencies or when travellers encounter problems. The initiative is intended to make assistance more accessible at one of Pattaya’s busiest departure points for island trips, while improving coordination between agencies responsible for tourism services and maritime transport. Pattaya City says the project is part of wider efforts to improve service standards, strengthen visitor confidence and make Bali Hai Pier a more convenient and safer gateway to the city’s coastal attractions.

Officials from Pattaya City, the Chonburi Tourism and Sports Office and the Pattaya Regional Harbour Office coordinate plans for a shared tourist assistance center offering travel information and emergency support at Bali Hai Pier.
