PATTAYA, Thailand – Municipal enforcement officers in Jomtien have launched an operation to remove unauthorized advertising signs placed along roadsides and public areas, as part of efforts to maintain order and improve the city’s image as a tourist destination.

Officers from Pattaya’s municipal enforcement unit conducted inspections and collected signs that had been installed without permission, noting that many were placed randomly, creating visual clutter, obstructing views, and affecting the overall appearance of the area.

Authorities reminded business operators that installing advertising signs on public property requires prior permission from Pattaya City, and signs placed without approval may be removed immediately by officials.

City officials emphasized that maintaining a clean and orderly environment is a shared responsibility, urging entrepreneurs and residents to follow regulations and help preserve the city’s landscape.
