Pattaya officials and police intervene outside a business on Third Road after a homeless woman showed signs of mental distress.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal officers and police intervened after a homeless woman showing signs of mental distress was found outside a business on Pattaya Third Road, taking her to hospital for assessment before the situation could potentially become dangerous to herself or others. The woman was reportedly talking to herself and appeared unable to communicate coherently, prompting concern from people in the area.

Officials from Pattaya City Municipality and Pattaya Police approached her and attempted to communicate while ensuring her safety. After assessing the situation, they arranged for her to be taken to Pattaya Batthamakun Hospital for medical evaluation and appropriate treatment.

The intervention helped remove the immediate concern from the area while ensuring the woman received professional care rather than remaining vulnerable on the street outside the business.

Pattaya City officials reminded residents who encounter people in distress or situations requiring municipal assistance to contact the Pattaya City Call Center at 1337 for assistance.
