Firefighters from Pattaya City Fire Station, Jomtien District, responded to a python report at a residence near the Four Regions Floating Market on June 28.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Firefighters in Pattaya safely captured a 3-metre python that was found near a residential area close to the Four Regions Floating Market on Sunday morning, before releasing it back into its natural habitat. At 11:33 on June 28, the Pattaya City Fire Station in the Jomtien District dispatched three officers after receiving a request for assistance to handle a large snake spotted at a house in Moo 12, at address number 99, near the market area.



Upon arrival, firefighters identified a python measuring approximately three metres in length hiding near the property. The team carefully secured the reptile using standard capture equipment to ensure the safety of both residents and the animal. After the successful operation, the python was safely transported and released back into a suitable natural environment away from residential zones.

Authorities reminded residents to remain cautious, especially in areas close to natural vegetation or water sources, where wildlife sightings may occur during seasonal weather changes.
