Banglamung Sub-district Mayor Jaraywat Chinawat (2nd left) inspected work in progress by Pattaya City’s team of expert grass cutters.

In response to criticisms from his constituents for not keeping the grass trimmed in their communities, Banglamung Sub-district Mayor Jaraywat Chinawat, along with his entourage, inspected the landscaping work in progress at the Kratinglai intersection of Highway 36 leading from Pattaya to Rayong on Nov 9.

There he saw workers from Pattaya City busy mowing grass from the road island along the middle of the highway.

Jaraywat was full of praise for the hard-working city hall staff, but more so he was envious that Pattaya City had all the good heavy equipment to assist them in their work and he had none.

He reiterated that if his sub-district could get a few pieces of the labour-saving heavy machinery, his team could work faster and more efficiently to spruce up the public parks and roads in his communities.

He asked the powers that be to consider allocating a budget so he could acquire what he deemed absolutely necessary equipment to keep his neighbourhoods clean and tidy.

Mayor Jaraywat Chinawat said he would ask for a budget to buy one of these heavy-duty tractors with its grass-cutting capabilities.
