
PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City officials visited Soi Arunothai to provide support to bedridden patients in the community, delivering wheelchairs and adult diapers as part of the “Better Pattaya” initiative.
Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkijakarn, along with Vice President of the Pattaya City Council Wisal Phettrakul, Council Member Banjong Bandunprayok, Assistant Secretary Ekprapho Eka-singh, medical staff from Pattaya City Hospital, and other officials, handed over assistance to two patients in need.
The event, organized by Pattaya City’s Public Health and Environment Office under the “Healthy and Happy” program for the 2025 fiscal year, aligns with the city’s strategic goals to enhance residents’ quality of life, address environmental issues, and provide proactive health services that reach every corner of the city.
The beneficiaries were 90-year-old Mrs. Kimlai Phunim, suffering from muscle weakness, who received a wheelchair and four packs of adult diapers, and 86-year-old Mrs. Suan Prom-on, also bedridden, who received a wheelchair, four packs of adult diapers, and a relief bag of essential supplies from Pattaya City Council Member for District 3 to help alleviate immediate needs.
Deputy Mayor Wuthisak emphasized that Pattaya City remains committed to caring for bedridden patients, promoting easier mobility, reducing caregiver burden, and ensuring equitable access to medical services across the city.
