Pattaya City has launched a new emergency response concept on Koh Larn promising rapid assistance through a simplified one-button system.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City has introduced a new emergency response concept on Koh Larn aimed at improving public safety by ensuring help can be reached quickly through a simplified one-button system. City officials said the initiative is part of Pattaya’s long-term “Better Pattaya” development campaign focused on improving quality of life, public services, and safety standards across the city and nearby tourist areas.

The concept centers on providing rapid assistance during emergencies without requiring residents or tourists to navigate complicated procedures or multiple emergency contact numbers. Officials said the goal is for people to be able to request assistance quickly and receive help within five minutes during urgent situations on the island.

The system is intended to support a wide range of emergencies, including accidents, medical incidents, fights, lost tourists, and situations affecting public safety and property. Authorities said the project reflects Pattaya’s effort to transform itself into not only a vibrant tourism destination, but also a city where residents and visitors feel safer knowing assistance is always nearby. Koh Larn, one of Pattaya’s most popular island destinations, receives large numbers of domestic and international tourists each year, particularly during weekends and holiday periods.
