Pattaya – Police are waiting on autopsy results to determine what killed a transgender masseuse found dead in a Pratamnak Hill apartment.
The heavily decomposed body of Anoma Bandit, 35, was found lying on the bed in the Soi Setti studio off Pratamnak Road Aug. 2. Anoma had been dead about a week.
Neighbors alerted the landlord about the strong smell emanating from the apartment. Police found the door locked from the inside and broke in. There were no signs of struggle or an apparent cause of death due to the bloated nature of the remains.
A work colleague said Anoma worked as a masseuse in a Pattaya massage parlor and had lived quietly at the apartment building for two years. Neighbors said she had no boyfriend.
The body was sent for a forensic examination to determine cause of death.
