Pattaya police arrested an alleged drug dealer who claimed to obtain narcotics from a Rayong Prison inmate.
Chamnan Chanrojnee, 36, from Sriracha was taken into custody following a sting operation in the Khao Khansrong area of Sriracha Aug. 21. He was caught with 200 methamphetamine tablets and 21.2 grams of crystal meth.
Police said Chamnan confessed to selling drugs in both Pattaya and Sriracha. He said he buys from a larger dealer currently doing time in Rayong.
Police are continuing their investigation into the prison drug ring.
