Line app complaint channel for Pattaya employees

Hold on to your “angry” stickers: Pattaya City Hall is not, in fact, taking your complaints via the Line messaging app.

The city’s Public Relations Department recently clarified an earlier announcement about the launch of a dedicated Line account to handle residents’ complaints. It is being used by a group of city employees to coordinate response to complaints. It is not a public channel to submit gripes.

The employee group is aimed at improving response times to flooding problems, as per a directive from Pattaya’s mayor.

Residents can still submit their complaints and opinions on flooding and drainage issues, but only via a web browser at Pattaya.go.th.

Residents can submit any complaint, as usual, via the Pattaya Contact Center at 1337.
