PATTAYA, Thailand – Municipal officers in Jomtien assisted a heavily intoxicated man found sleeping in a designated beach chair area on June 29. Officials from the Jomtien municipal enforcement team responded after being alerted to the situation and found the man in a disoriented condition. Officers woke him, provided water to help him recover, and assisted him until he regained awareness. He was then escorted to the Jomtien municipal office for temporary shelter and safety, in order to prevent any potential harm to himself or others. Authorities urged the public to act responsibly in public areas and reminded that incidents involving suspicious situations or emergencies can be reported via the Pattaya City Hall hotline 1337.
