PATTAYA, Thailand – Firefighters from the Pattaya City Fire Station (Jomtien District) safely captured a 4-metre python found in a nearby pond at a residential property behind Mega Home Pattaya early on the morning of June 29. The incident was reported at 6:50 a.m., prompting a three-member response team to a home located behind Mega Home Pattaya near Sukhumvit Road, South Pattaya. Firefighters successfully removed the large snake without incident after it was discovered in a pond near the residence, ensuring the safety of the residents and surrounding neighborhood.

Authorities reminded residents to remain cautious, especially in areas close to natural vegetation or water sources, where wildlife sightings may become more common during seasonal weather changes. Anyone encountering snakes or other potentially dangerous animals is advised not to attempt to capture them and instead seek assistance from trained personnel.
