PATTAYA, Thailand – Jay Pravinkumar Patel, a 28-year-old Indian national, found himself in need of assistance from Pattaya authorities after losing his wallet containing US$ 2,200 in cash and essential documents during a rideshare trip on October 7. According to Patel’s friends, the group used the popular “Bolt” ridesharing application to travel from Soi Bua Khao to Walking Street in South Pattaya. The journey seemed uneventful until they realized Patel’s wallet had been inadvertently left behind upon disembarking. Despite attempts to contact the rideshare driver, their efforts were met with unresponsiveness.

Persistent in their quest to retrieve the lost belongings, the group reported the incident to local law enforcement officers. While investigating officers have obtained the registration details of the vehicle and the driver’s contact information, attempts to reconnect Patel with his missing wallet and documents have, as of now, proved unsuccessful.

The situation has left Patel and his Thai companions deeply perturbed, as the unforeseen mishap has cast a shadow over their visit. Despite the setbacks, they remain hopeful that the owner of the vehicle will step forward and cooperate with authorities to facilitate the return of their lost assets. Local authorities continue their efforts to resolve the matter and assist Patel in recovering his belongings.
