PATTAYA, Thailand – A massive python measuring about three meters long sent residents scrambling for help after it was spotted coiled in the garden of a home on Thepprasit Soi 17, South Pattaya, on Wednesday morning. At 10:55 a.m. on July 30, firefighters from the Pattaya City Fire Station (Jomtien) responded with inspection vehicle 410 after receiving reports of the large snake hiding inside the property’s garden. Upon arrival, firefighters carefully tracked the hefty python and safely captured it using specialist equipment before removing it from the residential area without injury to people or the animal.
Officials reminded the public not to approach or attempt to catch snakes or other wild animals themselves, as doing so can be dangerous.
