PATTAYA, Thailand – The Meteorological Department reports that upper Thailand is experiencing cool to cold weather with strong northeast winds. In the Chonburi province, including Pattaya, temperatures have slightly decreased by 1–3°C due to a strong cold front moving down from China.

This morning, Pattaya experienced cooler early-morning conditions, with temperatures ranging from 20–23°C, while daytime highs are expected to reach 31–33°C. Winds from the northeast are blowing at 10–30 km/h, making the weather feel breezy, especially along the coast.

Residents and tourists are advised to wear light layers in the morning to stay comfortable and to be cautious of strong winds when near the sea. Maritime conditions in the Gulf of Thailand remain calm, with waves about 1–2 meters high, but areas with showers may see slightly rougher seas.

The department also warns of potential fire hazards due to dry conditions and urges people to stay alert during outdoor activities.
