PATTAYA, Thailand – A foreign tourist was injured after a dog suddenly ran across the road in Central Pattaya on September 18, causing the motorcycle he was travelling on to crash. Pattaya municipal officers found the injured tourist on the Central Pattaya beachfront road with abrasions to his body.
Officials contacted Pattaya Beach lifeguards, who provided first aid and assisted the injured man at the scene. The tourist told officials that he wished to travel to hospital on his own. Authorities therefore provided initial assistance and helped facilitate his departure. Pattaya residents and visitors can contact the city’s 1337 hotline for urgent assistance.
