PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal officers and beach lifeguards stepped in to help a woman found lying face down beside a roadside after heavy drinking left her unable to get up, raising concerns she could be struck by passing vehicles. The incident was reported when Pattaya City officials and beach lifeguard personnel discovered the Thai woman in an intoxicated condition near the road. Fearing she could be injured by passing traffic, officers immediately approached and checked on her condition. They provided initial assistance and first aid while speaking with her to assess her situation and determine whether she needed further help.

The woman was conscious and told officials that she did not wish to be taken to hospital.
