Relatives of Eakaruk Nukim arrive at the scene not daring to look inside the van where ill-fated minivan driver had died.

The body of a shuttle driver was found inside his company’s van, engine still running, under the Bali Hai flyover.
Eakaruk Nukim, 42, was laying on his stomach when friend Prawit Pungthong, 59, discovered him Sept. 18. There were no signs of injury or abuse.

Prawit said Eakaruk drove employees of a company in Sriracha to Pratamnak Hill and parked under the South Pattaya overpass while waiting to pick them up.

However, when a relative couldn’t contact Eakaruk, Prawit was called to find him. He was lying down in the Toyota van, which still had the engine running.
A relative said the dead man had heart disease.

Paramedics from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation remove Eakaruk Nukim’s corpse from the minivan.
