
SRI RACHA, Thailand – A 16-year-old female student was seriously injured after falling from the eighth floor of a condominium in Chonburi on the evening of July 20. As news of the incident spread, many people in the community expressed hope that the teenager would make a full recovery. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers from Sri Racha Police Station were called to the condominium in Surasak sub-district at around 5:30 p.m., where they found the student unconscious on the ground. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting her to Phyathai Hospital for emergency treatment. The student, a Grade 11 pupil of Myanmar nationality, suffered multiple fractures and other injuries. A Honda Wave motorcycle parked below was also damaged in the incident.
Police interviewed witnesses at the scene as part of their investigation. While some people suggested the student may have been under stress, officers said the exact circumstances have not yet been established and will be determined through further inquiries once her condition allows investigators to speak with her. Police urged the public not to speculate about the cause while the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses before reaching any conclusions.
