PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya is set to enjoy mostly dry and sunny conditions this week, offering favorable weather for both tourists and local businesses along the eastern seaboard. According to the latest forecast from the Thai Meteorological Department, rainfall activity across Thailand has decreased as the southwest monsoon weakens, resulting in scattered showers in only limited areas. Nationally, rain is expected over roughly 20–40% of select regions, with many provinces experiencing more stable weather patterns. For Pattaya and surrounding areas in Chonburi province, conditions are expected to remain relatively calm, with only isolated light showers possible. Most days are likely to bring a mix of sunshine and cloud, allowing visitors to enjoy beaches, outdoor attractions, and evening activities with minimal disruption.

Sea conditions in the Gulf of Thailand are also expected to remain manageable. Wave heights are generally forecast at around 1 meter, rising slightly higher during brief thunderstorms. Authorities continue to advise small boats and marine operators to exercise caution in areas where rain clouds may develop. With fewer rainy interruptions, tourism operators in Pattaya are anticipating improved visitor flow, particularly from domestic travellers and short-stay international tourists. Beach activities, island trips, and nightlife venues are expected to benefit from the more stable weather pattern. While brief showers cannot be ruled out entirely, the overall outlook suggests that sunshine will dominate most of the week, reinforcing Pattaya’s appeal as a convenient coastal getaway during the current monsoon transition period.
