Pattaya city enforcement officers and traffic police inspect illegally parked vehicles along South Pattaya Road as part of a campaign to ease congestion and improve pedestrian safety in Pattaya.

PATTAYA, Thailand – City enforcement officers from Pattaya, working alongside traffic police, carried out a strict inspection along South Pattaya Road to clamp down on vehicles parked in violation of regulations.

Authorities targeted cars parked against the designated odd-even day system as well as vehicles illegally stopping on sidewalks. Officials emphasized that improper parking is not a minor issue, as it contributes directly to traffic congestion, forces pedestrians to step onto the roadway at risk of injury, and negatively impacts the image of Pattaya as a leading tourist destination.

City officers stated that enforcement will be carried out in accordance with the law. Drivers who ignore warnings and fail to correct violations will face immediate fines.

The operation forms part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and overall city order in one of Pattaya’s busiest areas.
