The Chonburi Immigration Office paid tribute to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and his late father, King Rama IX, during twin ceremonies July 22.

Superintendent Pol. Col. Songpoad Sirisuka and his top lieutenants honored HM the King through his Morality Leads Life project by saving two cows from the slaughterhouse in honor of the monarch’s 65th birthday July 28.

KM the King’s project includes pardoning condemned cows and buffalos. The Chonburi immigration staffers and police officers picked out a male and female cow to do their part, paying 60,000 baht to a slaughterhouse in Nakhon Ratchasima, bringing the total number of cattle spared to 60.

Earlier in the day, the same group offered a morning meal to nine local monks to make merit in the name of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
