PATTAYA, Thailand – Chinese tourists were safely rescued after becoming trapped inside a lift at a pool villa in Pattaya early on August 11. Pattaya police received a distress call at around 1:43 a.m. reporting that the tourists were stuck inside the lift at Buakhao Villa in the city. Patrol officers from Patrol Zone 4, together with rescuers from Sawang Boriboon, rushed to the property and carried out the rescue operation. The tourists were successfully freed from the lift and were found safe, with no injuries reported.
