
PATTAYA, Thailand – A British woman who was too intoxicated to return to her accommodation on her own was safely escorted back by Pattaya Tourist Police on August 12. Tourist Police patrol officers were alerted by security guards at Kasikornbank’s Lotus South Pattaya branch after they found the woman intoxicated and unable to travel back to her accommodation by herself.
Officers spoke with the woman and managed to establish the location of her accommodation. They then escorted her back safely, where her son came downstairs to receive her. Her son thanked the Tourist Police for taking care of his mother and ensuring she returned safely. Tourists requiring assistance can contact the Tourist Police emergency hotline at 1155, available 24 hours a day.
