PATTAYA, Thailand – A foreign tourist has been reunited with identification cards and passport after a kind-hearted member of the public found them and handed them to Pattaya Tourist Police. On August 3, a local citizen reported finding and keeping important cards belonging to a foreign visitor before bringing them to the Pattaya Beach Tourist Police service point in front of Royal Garden Plaza.
Pattaya Tourist Police quickly coordinated with Pattaya City Police Station and worked to contact the owner, successfully locating the tourist. At 10.30 a.m. on August 4, the tourist personally arrived to collect the missing cards and expressed appreciation to the good Samaritan and all officials involved for their assistance.
The incident highlighted the cooperation between residents, authorities and visitors in helping maintain Pattaya’s reputation as a welcoming and safe tourism destination.
