LINE Premium users in Thailand can recall messages up to seven days after sending them, offering extra protection against accidental or regrettable messages.

BANGKOK, Thailand – More than 3 million people in Thailand are paying for LINE Premium, a subscription service that offers extended message recall features, including the ability to remove sent messages after the usual one-hour limit available to free users. According to information revealed by LINE, many users subscribe to the service, which costs 169 baht per month, partly because they want the option to undo messages and avoid mistakes before they create problems — especially when recipients have not yet opened the messages. For regular LINE users, messages can no longer be unsent after one hour. However, LINE Premium users can remove messages up to seven days after sending them.

The premium Unsend feature also removes the message without leaving a notification that a message has been deleted, allowing users to correct mistakes more discreetly. The feature has become particularly useful for workplace communication, where users may accidentally send incorrect information, private messages or inappropriate content into large group chats involving colleagues, managers or business contacts.

The service also appeals to users who want a second chance after sending messages they later regret, giving them more control over their digital conversations. With messaging now playing a central role in both personal and professional life, the ability to correct mistakes has become one of the key reasons some users are willing to pay for additional LINE features.
