Nirut Sriharaj, 38, was pistol-whipped in the face and Thanaporn Tathong, 33, was shot in the neck July 4 in front of a convenience store next to the Roy Lan 2 construction materials shop on Pattanakarn Road.
Frightened witness Prawphan Radarong, 25, said she and her two family members were riding a motorbike on a deserted road when they were forced to stop by two male youths on another bike.
Nirut fought the two to protect his sisters, but was hit in the head and knocked unconscious. Then one shot Thanaporn and stole her handbag containing two mobile phones and cash before fleeing on Pattanakarn Road.
