KHON KAEN, Thailand – A passenger van crashed into the rear of a truck on the Mitraphap Highway in Ban Phai district, Khon Kaen province, on July 26, leaving 15 people injured. The accident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. on the major highway, prompting emergency responders, rescue teams and related agencies to rush to the scene to assist those involved.



Initial reports indicated that the passenger van struck the back of the truck, causing injuries among passengers inside. The injured victims were provided with first aid before being transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, with preliminary reports suggesting the van driver may have fallen asleep while driving before the collision.
