Re: Foreigners can own condos here (PM Mailbag Friday, 12 July 2013) – I certainly wasn’t made aware that I was being sold my condo in a Thai company name; from what I can gather, this ‘company’ is ‘dormant’ and is being used as a ruse by the people who sold it to me. I’ve been told that the foreign quota is full at the complex where my room is. I can’t take legal action against them till I return to Jomtien in 3 years time; or unless I come into an unexpected fortune… See you in 3 years then with my lawyers… unless my claim for compensation will have become dormant during this time lapse.
