Re: PM to British businessmen: Thai politics is stable (PM Wednesday, 19 June 2013) – Thailand must be admired. It has retained democracy amidst the adversity of military intervention and has managed to grow economically. Never colonized, Thailand’s relations with India, Britain, USA and the rest of ASEAN are excellent. It is an attractive international tourist destination. I wish the Prime Minister well and hope she will allow her brother Thaksin to return to Thailand soon. May I add, the Prime Minister has an exceptionally engaging personality.
