Influence did go both ways

Re: Pekka Astrom’s reply to Life at 33 1/3: The abdication of the Lizard King (PM Life at 33 1/3 Friday, 12 July 2013) – The influence did go both ways I’d say. The Brits took their influence from American rhythm & blues, blues, soul and rock’n’roll. By 1965 the Americans started waking up. It was no coincidence that Bob Dylan named his first 1965-album “Bringing It All Back Home”. From 1966 onwards the Americans were mixing their own medicine as much as they were downing the British imports. Rock music became a dialogue between the American and British scenes.
