Pattaya HHNFT organizes orientation of the 2nd academic semester for less fortunate children

Mrs. Radchada Chomjinda, HHNFT Director, Mr. Siromet Akrapongpanit, HHNFT Deputy Director, and Mr. Pirun Noyimjai, ASEAN Learning Center Manager, organized an orientation of the 2nd academic term for special students and less fortunate children.

At ASEAN Education Center, Human Help Network Foundation Thailand, Mrs. Radchada Chomjinda, HHNFT Director, Mr. Siromet Akrapongpanit, HHNFT Deputy Director, and Mr. Pirun Noyimjai, ASEAN Learning Center Manager, organized an orientation of the 2nd academic semester for special students and less fortunate children on Nov 15.

Moreover, Mrs. Pissamai Longcharoen, Director of Non-Formal Education of Banglamung District, and its officers participated in the activity with a total of 30 special targeted students – less fortunate children of HHNFT.



Mrs. Radchada revealed that the Learning Promotion Project of ASEAN Education Center aims to develop education of the children to use their free time productively and to receive education according to criteria with the purpose to reduce criminal problems which may occur to children. ASEAN Education Center takes care of children of migrant construction workers including Burmese, Cambodian, Vietnamese, and Laotian, in worker camps in Pattaya City to get education to have knowledge of basic life skills, morals, ethics, and discipline, to become good people of the society with no charge. The Foundation hopes these children to be good people possessing efficiencies when they grow up.


Transnational children with Thai hearts.

ASEAN Education Center was established with the purpose to reduce gaps and inequality in society and to prevent crimes and child exploitation in various forms, for example, forcing to beg for money, street children, and various sexual abuses of children. Besides, ASEAN Education Center wants to create transnational children educational opportunity for them to have education according to basic rights.

Mrs. Pissamai talked about the guideline to hold learning activities, to create educational opportunity to all children in all ages and groups across the country according to Thai government’s policy on education opportunity expansion.



After the opening ceremony, teachers of Non-formal Education of Banglamung District divided the students into groups to play games and recreational activities to break the ice and to create unity together with giving knowledge of structure of the primary education to the children to understand the criteria and right behavior.
