PATTAYA, Thailand – Strong sunshine and improving beach weather are drawing Thai and international tourists to Pattaya during the long holiday, bringing welcome activity to the beachfront as the rainy season approaches its end. Pattaya Beach and nearby coastal areas offer visitors opportunities to relax by the sea, enjoy water activities and spend time outdoors after weeks of changeable weather. The brighter conditions are also encouraging holidaymakers to make the most of their time off.

The improved weather is welcome news for local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, beach vendors, watersports operators and tourism service providers, many of which depend on visitor numbers and favorable outdoor conditions. Pattaya remains a popular short-break destination for Thai travellers, while international visitors continue to enjoy its beaches, restaurants, entertainment and coastal attractions. Sunny days can help create a more inviting atmosphere for visitors planning beach outings and seaside dining.

However, the Thai Meteorological Department has warned of unsettled weather in parts of upper Thailand from October 25–27, with heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast in several southern provinces from October 25–28. Conditions can vary across the country, and visitors should continue to monitor local forecasts before travelling or taking part in marine activities. For Pattaya’s tourism businesses, a spell of brighter weather during the holiday period offers an encouraging opportunity to welcome visitors and generate activity along the city’s coastline as the high season approaches.
