Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet reviews Bali Hai Pier upgrades as new cushioned seats enhance comfort for ferry passengers to Koh Larn.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The city of Pattaya has introduced nearly 100 new cushioned blue chairs with backrests at the Bali Hai Pier passenger terminal, aiming to improve comfort and convenience for residents and tourists waiting for ferries to Koh Larn.

The move follows the recent renovation of the pier’s former glass-walled waiting room, which has been opened up for better ventilation and accessibility. Alongside the new seating, repair work is also underway on restrooms inside the building to further enhance facilities.

Officials say the initiative is part of Pattaya’s broader plan to upgrade public services and improve the quality of the city’s tourism infrastructure. With Koh Larn remaining one of the most popular destinations for both Thai and international visitors, ferry services at Bali Hai Pier continue to see heavy daily traffic.

By providing a more comfortable waiting area, city administrators hope to boost visitor satisfaction and reinforce Pattaya’s image as a world-class tourism hub.
