BANGKOK, Thailand – Huawei Technologies (Thailand) has received two honors at the HR Asia Awards 2026, recognizing its workplace environment and use of technology to empower employees. The awards mark the fourth consecutive year the company has been recognized by the program.
The company received the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 award and the HR Asia Tech Empowerment Awards 2026 at a ceremony held at True Icon Siam Convention Hall in Bangkok on September 25.
This year, 60 organizations in Thailand received the Best Companies to Work for in Asia award from 323 participating organizations. The award recognizes employers for their people management practices, workplace environment and support for employee development and collaboration.
The Tech Empowerment award recognizes Huawei Thailand’s use of technology to enhance employee capabilities and improve the workplace experience.
David Li, chief executive officer of Huawei Technologies (Thailand), said the company believed technology should create more opportunities for people rather than diminish the importance of its workforce.
He said Huawei aimed to provide an environment where employees felt valued and supported, with opportunities to develop new skills, strengthen their capabilities and contribute to the organization.
Li added that the awards recognized the commitment and cooperation of employees in building a workplace culture where people could grow together.
Huawei Thailand said it would continue investing in an open and supportive working environment, with opportunities for employees to learn new skills, adapt to emerging technologies and contribute to innovation. The company also highlighted the growing role of technology in improving collaboration, learning and work efficiency, while helping employees adapt to changes in the digital economy.
