BANGKOK, Thailand – A pair of AirPods forgotten on a Nok Air flight was found inside a garbage bag at Don Mueang International Airport after Tourist Police used the passenger’s Find My location to track down the tiny missing item. The Taiwanese tourist reported the lost AirPods to Don Mueang Tourist Police at around 2:20 p.m. on September 17, saying the earphones had been left on board a Nok Air aircraft. Officers contacted the airline’s Lost and Found department, but were told that the AirPods had not been handed in.
The Tourist Police then checked the location shown on the passenger’s Find My service, which indicated that the AirPods were at an airport waste collection area where rubbish was being held before disposal. Officers accompanied the tourist to the location and searched the area. After checking the rubbish, they eventually found the missing AirPods inside a garbage bag.
