Managing Director of the BAAC, Charnsilp Srimanee has stated the distribution will be conducted at the community hall in Ron Phibun District. Those entitled to the compensations are from the districts of Cha-Uat, Chula Phon, and Ron Phibun.

He said that 30 officials have been deployed to the event while several Automatic Teller Machines have been set up to facilitate withdrawals of money by rubber planters.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Jarupong Reungsuwan handed out the government policy on rubber assistance measures to village heads from different parts of the country. He also mentioned that the first batch of 400 rubber growers who had been registered for the assistance measures in Nakhon Si Thammarat will be able to claim the money.

He however stressed that farmers must bring the certificates issued during the registration with them to make the claims.

There are approximately 80,000 rubber growers already registered for the compensation in the province out of the 100,000 planters qualified for the scheme. He urged the remaining 20 percent to make the registration within this month and avoid missing out their entitled benefits.
