PHETCHABUN, Thailand – One person was killed after a car crashed into an irrigation canal in Lom Sak district, Phetchabun province. The accident occurred in front of Saeng Dao Resort in Tan Diao subdistrict, where the vehicle ended up in the canal with the victim trapped inside.
Rescue volunteers from Ruamkatanyu Lom Sak Foundation responded to the scene and used cutting and spreading equipment, along with lighting equipment, to gain access to the vehicle and recover the victim. One person was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police and relevant agencies are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including how the vehicle left the road and plunged into the canal. Further details, including the identity of the deceased and the cause of the accident, will be released once officially confirmed.
