PATTAYA, Thailand – The Riviera Malibu Residences recently welcomed lecturers and students from Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok (Bangphra) for an educational visit designed to give the next generation of professionals first-hand experience of condominium design, construction and property development.
The visit to The Riviera Malibu Residences on Pratumnak Soi 5 provided students with an opportunity to move beyond classroom theory and observe a major luxury residential development at an active construction site. They gained insights into the concepts behind the project, architectural planning and the practical challenges involved in transforming a development concept into a completed building.
The Riviera Group describes The Riviera Malibu Residences as a luxury high-rise condominium comprising 275 fully furnished residences across 30 floors. The project was designed around a Malibu-inspired lifestyle, combining contemporary architecture, panoramic sea views and extensive resort-style facilities.
Among the facilities being developed are an 18th-floor sky pool, infinity-edge swimming pool, private 15-seat cinema, two professional golf simulators, a Japanese-style onsen with sauna and steam rooms, children’s facilities, an arcade room, two bowling lanes, a rooftop infinity pool and sunset bar.

The Riviera Malibu is progressing towards its scheduled completion in December 2026, with finishing works, interior fit-outs, landscaping and facility installations advancing across the project.
For the students, the visit offered a valuable opportunity to see how architectural ideas, engineering, construction management and property development come together in practice. “We believe that young people benefit enormously from seeing and experiencing the workplace first-hand. Hopefully, what they have seen here will give them new ideas, new perspectives and inspiration that they can take into their studies and future careers,” Sukanya said.
