PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya firefighters were called to a pet shop in Jomtien after a snake measuring about one meter was discovered inside the premises on August 10. At 12:25 p.m., the Pattaya City Fire Station in Jomtien dispatched an inspection vehicle and officers to Aomsin Happy Pet 2, a shop selling pet food and animal-care supplies, following a report of a snake inside the business. Firefighters safely captured the reptile and removed it from the premises.
Authorities reminded residents not to approach or attempt to catch snakes or other wild animals themselves. Frightened animals can react unpredictably, while attempts to handle them can result in injury. Residents who discover snakes or other wildlife inside homes or businesses are advised to contact Pattaya City emergency services on 1337 or the Jomtien Fire Station at 095-146-4221 for professional assistance.
