NONTHABURI, Thailand – The father of the student involved in the recent school shooting appeared at Plai Bang Police Station on August 9 to provide additional information to investigators following a police summons. The father said only that he had come to the station for the scheduled questioning and that he had not been informed in detail about the specific issues investigators wanted to address. After speaking with police, the father briefly addressed reporters in an emotional statement, appearing tearful and speaking in a trembling voice. He apologized to those affected by the incident, raising his hands in a traditional Thai gesture of respect and remorse before leaving the police station.
