
PATTAYA, Thailand – Chonburi Immigration officers and Na Jomtien police helped a German tourist who became separated from his relatives and was unable to contact them at a hotel in Na Jomtien on August 7. The incident was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. after members of a local accommodation network contacted Chonburi Immigration to request assistance for the German national at B2 Sea View Pattaya Hotel. Officers responded and worked to locate and contact his relatives. The tourist was taken to a safe place to wait while officers coordinated with his family, who were subsequently contacted and arranged to collect him.
The case highlights the role of local authorities and community networks in assisting foreign visitors who become separated from family members or encounter difficulties while travelling in the Pattaya area.
