BANGKOK, Thailand – A British tourist was reunited with a camera bag containing valuable equipment after Don Mueang Tourist Police helped trace the taxi he had taken to the airport and successfully recovered his belongings. The incident happened on August 6 at around 9:47 a.m., when the British tourist and his family reported to Don Mueang Tourist Police that he had accidentally left a black camera bag inside a taxi while travelling to Don Mueang International Airport. The missing bag contained a digital camera and camera accessories, prompting officers to assist in locating the vehicle.
Tourist Police coordinated with the airport’s CCTV monitoring team to review footage and identify the taxi involved. Officers were able to determine that the vehicle was a yellow taxi with registration number Tho Lo 5261 Bangkok. Police then contacted the taxi driver, who confirmed that the camera bag was still inside the vehicle. The driver was asked to return the bag to Don Mueang Airport, where it was handed back to the tourist. After checking his belongings, the tourist confirmed that all items were still inside and in perfect condition. The British visitor expressed his appreciation and thanked Don Mueang Tourist Police for their quick assistance and efforts in recovering his property.
