BANGKOK, Thailand – A U.S. traveler was reunited with his lost passport after Tourist Police at Don Mueang Airport coordinated with airport staff and helped return the important travel document before his journey continued. On July 26, at around 8 p.m., Don Mueang Tourist Police received a request for assistance from Tourist Police at Suvarnabhumi Airport regarding Mr. Darek, an American national who had accidentally left his passport at Don Mueang Airport before traveling onward.
After receiving the report, Don Mueang Tourist Police contacted the airport’s Lost and Found department and confirmed that the passport had been located and handed over for safekeeping.
Officers then arranged for the passport to be transported from Don Mueang Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport by taxi, allowing the traveler to receive his passport back in time. Mr. Darek expressed his appreciation and thanked Tourist Police officers for their assistance in recovering the lost document and helping ensure his travel plans could continue smoothly.
