PATTAYA, Thailand – A Chinese tourist has been reunited with a lost mobile phone after Pattaya Tourist Police successfully coordinated with a Bolt driver to recover the device left behind in a ride-hailing vehicle. The incident occurred on July 27 when the tourist approached the Pattaya Tourist Police Station at around 12:20 p.m. after realizing the phone had been forgotten inside a vehicle booked through the Bolt application.
Pattaya Tourist Police officers, together with a Chinese-speaking interpreter, quickly assisted the visitor by contacting the ride-hailing service provider and coordinating with the driver who had completed the trip. After locating the vehicle and arranging a meeting, the phone was successfully returned to the tourist at 7:30 p.m. at the Pattaya Tourist Police Station.
The Chinese visitor expressed appreciation to the officers and interpreter for their assistance in recovering the lost device.
