PATTAYA, Thailand – Immigration police in Pattaya have arrested a South Korean man, the owner of a controversial X (formerly Twitter) account, for allegedly posting explicit content online and possessing a large quantity of illegal drugs during a condominium raid. The operation was carried out on June 21, after authorities obtained a search warrant from the Pattaya Provincial Court as part of a broader crackdown on transnational crime and online offences. The suspect, identified as “Louis Kim” (alias), 30, was found in a rented room in Pattaya, Chonburi province. He is accused of uploading pornographic videos involving sexual activity with a Thai woman via social media. He reportedly confessed to posting the content. During the search, officers also discovered a significant quantity of illegal drugs, including 21.36 grams of methamphetamine (ice), 304.32 grams of ketamine, 296 ecstasy pills (MDMA), and 9 units of etomidate, commonly known as “pod K.” All items were seized as evidence.

The suspect has been charged under Thailand’s Computer Crime Act for importing obscene content into a computer system accessible to the public, as well as under the Penal Code for distributing obscene materials. He also faces charges under narcotics laws for possession of Category 1 and Category 2 drugs with intent to sell. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect, along with the seized items, has been handed over to investigators for further legal proceedings. Immigration police said they will expand the investigation to trace the origin of the drugs and determine whether other individuals or networks are involved. Officials reiterated their commitment to cracking down on transnational crime, illegal foreign offenders, and drug-related networks to ensure public safety and order in Thailand. (TNA)
