PATTAYA, Thailand – Foreign tourists preparing for a trip to Koh Larn received assistance and safety guidance from Pattaya tourist police as part of ongoing efforts to promote safe travel on the water.
Officers helped visitors correctly wear life vests before boarding boats bound for the popular island destination. Many tourists were seen receiving hands-on assistance to ensure the safety equipment was properly fitted before departure.
Alongside the assistance, officers also took the opportunity to remind passengers about the importance of wearing life jackets throughout marine journeys. The guidance is part of broader safety measures aimed at preventing accidents and ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for all visitors.
Authorities said the initiative reflects continued cooperation between local officers and tourism operators to strengthen safety standards at key transport points, especially routes to Koh Larn, which remains one of Pattaya’s most visited attractions. The campaign also aims to raise awareness among both tourists and service providers about the importance of basic safety practices during water-based travel, particularly during busy tourist periods.
